The Harrier was a British aviation icon, and it was taken from the RAF way before its time. From the early days at Wittering in the 60’s to the final days at Cottesmore in 2010, it was a shining example of British ingenuity that should still have been flying on the front lines today, instead of languishing in a desert in Arizona. I lived very near to RAF Wittering as a kid, I visited the station many times in the Air Cadets, and maybe that is why the Harrier and that base will always have a special place in my heart. The FSX aircraft featured are from Wilco (GR1 and GR3), and Razbam (later variants).
