The Hawker Siddeley Andover was a medium tactical freighter derivative of the HS748 turboprop airliner. With its rear cargo doors and kneeling undercarriage, it was quite a departure from the standard passenger aircraft that birthed it. Andover first flew in 1965 and entered RAF service shortly thereafter. It saw service as the C1 with 46 Sqdn, 52 Sqdn, 84 Sqdn and 115 Sqdn. A standard passenger variant (the CC2) served with 21 Sqdn and 32 Sqdn. It also served with the Empire Test Pilot School at Boscombe Down. The FSX aircraft featured here is freeware.
